I am a composer, performer and writer currently based in London.

After completing a BA in Music at Durham University under the tuition of James Weeks and Eric Egan, and a Master's in Composition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tuition of Amber Priestley, I am now a Junior Fellow at Guildhall.

My music explores many facets of the sonic experience, often utilising and transforming found material, experimenting with indeterminacy within musical gestures and implementing environments for imperfection to be celebrated. I aim to challenge forms of standard notation through both standard and open notation, specifically looking at the breadth of capabilities within a notational practice, and these are often influenced by visual art practices.

Space, performer autonomy, the act of gathering, and the importance of process and play are all central themes of my work, and I am interested in letting go of control in compositional settings. Central to my practice is the importance of accessibility of the arts as well as collaboration with my performers and artistic partners.

I also extend my practice to working with electronics (fixed media and live electronics) and audiovisual work. My electronics practice aims to tap into translating acoustic infrastructures through synthesised material, with a specific interest in spectral analysis and a track's relation to a live performer.

I have worked with ensembles such as players from the London Symphony Orchestra, Plus-Minus Ensemble, EXAUDI, Ensemble 7 Bridges, The Frankland Quartet, The Bailey Chamber Orchestra, as well as many other individual instrumentalists

I am currently the Creative Producer and Writer for PRXLUDES magazine, an online contemporary music magazine, platform, and resource dedicated to the promotion of the work of emerging and early-career composers.
